First Impression of Fallout 4

Nope, you would only need 3 SPECIAL trainning points to have those perks

Mh...seems you are right.

Also the issue of "I don't want to make a gun character but the AG tree is mostly for them and I want some AG perks" is born out of their own stupid dumbing down of the perk system, with making a single perk be THE PERK of that Stat level, which is fucking retarded, game design wise and logic wise too. I mean, Heavy Gunner is the level 5 perk of ST, but Gun basher is the level 7 one? I need more strength to bash someone with my pistol hard than I need to shoot straight with a Minigun or Missile Launcher?

This new system just created more problems that didn't even exist before while removing the flexiility of the old system and fixing NONE of the issue it had.... And that is called a BAD DESIGN.

Oh, don't get me wrong. This new system is dumb, but it makes *some* sense to have the basic offensive abilities as low level perks.

DADSON, I CARE ABOUT YOU SO MUCH.

SONDAD, I FORGIVE YOU FOR RUNNING AWAY.

Hmm that could be fun in Fallout 4 considering your the dad, gonna be disapoint if I don't get to pointlessly kill myself in such a way that it kills my son when he tries to fix the mcguffin I broke to stop the bad guys from doing the same thing I wanted to do anyway.

If unarmed still has the crit kill animations from Skyrim it'll never get boring, gonna suplex me a Deathclaw. :wiggle:

The 2 perks that up melee and unarmed damage are at ranks 1 and 2...

Yes, but if I'm reading the perk chart right, each attribute also offers passive bonuses, ie. just having more Strength increases your melee damage, Perception boots your VATS chance to hit, Charisma increases your success rate in dialogue checks, etc. Obviously we don't know how large that bonus is, but say you got 10% bonus melee damage per point of Strength, then you would probably want to max strength out if you have nothing else to spend points on.

And the problem is that unlike Skyrim, you can't decide to stop leveling up in order to prevent enemies from scaling. So you're going to walk around as a melee character with all the useful perks and 10s across the board and you'll still be climbing in levels.

Kind of off topic but I forgot to answer something the Innerhfish wondered when that storm on saturday cut my power off, VOSE means "Version original Subtitulada al Español", or just original audio with subs.

guys let's be honest and talk about the problems:
1) lip sync? WTF!
2) graphics, I know I know they are not "important" in fallout 4 games but this makes me feel like throwing up. TOO MUCH FUCKING GREEN! wtf!
3) Dogmeat falling off the tower and then reappearing like nothing happend. same thing I saw in another video where dogmeat is left outside of the elevator but somehow reappears a seconds later. makes the game look pretty dumb that it's comical.
4) cut scenes are pretty shitty and low quality.
5) This game should have been released 4 years ago, it's not a 2015 game by any means but then fanboys are fucking stupid and they gonna eat this shit up. SMH.

Thx god! Not all on youtube is lost

Jeez, that green has been mentioned, it's seriously unbearable.
I'm not sure whether I'll buy it. Removal of skill system and what I'm reading about dialogue have utterly removed any hopeful curiosity ("it's still FALL-OUT") I could've had left. Weapon/armor modding might about the only thing right now that looks sweet. I just can't wrap my head around the dialogue thing. By now nobody is expecting another Myron, but well, this is just "what kind of vague flavor to I want to give my warrior?"

I have no idea how the settlement system works, but these things can have a way of getting weird if you're managing a large community with tons of responsibility, but still have to go take care of trivial quests on your main/secondary storyline (something similar was pointed out in several DA - Origins reviews).
As for games that pull of isometric, not sure if it's been mentioned, but Divinity Original Sin does, and recently also on consoles. Apparently with success.
Who's excited for Just Cause 3, though?

That green from that ghoul video hurt my eyes, it reminded me of Oblivion's light spells that made the area it lit a weird green color.

Morrowind just lightened up everything. I actually enjoyed using it.
Well people want immurshunz so we get what was seen in that ghoul video, at first I thought everything was glowing from radiation.

Immersive radiation! Immersive vault-tec sales guy! Immersive settlement settler! Oh man modding scene will be great and immersive yet again! Thanks Bethesda for releasing another modding platform.

At this rate the next game will have loose game assets(voices, models, ect) with the game engine and they'll say "F*** it you modders can put it together yourselves have fun! For $39.99 extra you can get the Nuka Cola asset pack!".

There's no way anyone at bethesda would go out of their comfort safe zone and venture here. They wouldn't bear the shock. :P
