First round of Fallout 4 Reviews

Oh man, I fucking love the character creator though.

I still prefer using sliders since trying to sculpt my character's face is a pain in the ass. I almost gave him the kind of twisted nose you gave you're character. I do enjoy making the characters with ugly not at all normal faces that have exaggerated features.

Personally I don't like the new character creator much. It's an improvement, but a little bit unwieldy if you ask me, you never know how exactly you're going to change your character when dragging around. Also, The Sims 4 has done it better(even though it's still a shit game). :P

The character creation was good in theory but in practice it was extremely clunky to use. it was trying to ape the Sims 4 creator but it didn't have the correct visual cues, the hover zones for the parts where pretty finnicky too. They should've still included a bit of the Sliders to help make it more controlled.

Couldn't be a Mod. All the modding that can be done right now without the GECK is just Ini tweaks and Texture changes.

According to the wiki there is an item called "Gorilla Meat". They might be in the Institute.

Fuckin evergreen mills all over again, Why can raiders not talk!?
Holy shit, I approach the "combat zone" or whatever, and I think - hey - people, they even got electricity, they got a sign, a welcoming fucking comitee, and a SPORT where one is expected to SIGN UP and COMPETE

BUT NO

they shoot you on sight
cuz
deyr raiderz

An entire settlement + concept + potential backstory = reduced to a wipe-em-out encounter, not even a quest.

Isn't that thing supposed to have a potential companion in it?

Yes, but it's kindov dumb.
you go inside, kill everything that moves, and get a lil speech from the owner of the place, and a companion as a reward for shutting him down, and ruining his business. Idunno... but yes, you do get a companion there, so... I guess like the bobblehead hidden in Evergreen Mills there is SOME reward-factor :V
