Lmao naw. The best official commercial doom game is final doom. Sure TNT is kinda meh but plutonia began what doom would become most remembered for: The fucken slaughter map.

Doom 64 is pretty underrated tho. It's easily available now tho what with the doom 2 TC is has and with new remaster which actually adds a new episode connecting it to doom 2016 iirc
 
I've discovered on the chinese version of youtube, comments just literally fly across the screen as you're watching a video.

I honestly feel like that would be both amazing and absolutely abominable on western yt, the shitpost power would be palpable

Most likely. I just saw my gf watching videos and the screen just being consumed by lettering. Personally I can't imagine it being any good but apparently there's a whole culture surrounding it and they're actually funny, but i have my doubts
 
I always wonder why Asian web design seems so stuck in the early 2000s even tho Japan and China are all about the technology and aesthetic refinement, but all their websites always look so basic.
 
Trying to going back to at least 1 character a day. Because I swear, this time I will actually start my stupid comic.

I have been trying to learn my Huion tablet but having to look at the screen and not the surface I'm drawing on has proven extremely hard. I am reduced to 1st grade level drawing on it. I don't know how long it usually takes to train your brain.

Get a pencil and a sketchbook (or cheap notebook). Look at, or imagine a drawing subject, something simple at first (boxes and spheres are a good start), and draw them in the book with your eyes closed. Try to —know— your pencil position from point to point as you draw.

As far as training your brain... it's best not to look at the tablet at all. After a few sessions of blind sketching, try the same sketches on the tablet with your eyes only on the screen; forget erasing, just sketch until it becomes natural to control the cursor position without seeing the pen.
 
If it wasn't so expensive I would really love to try out a Cintiq. Basically a monitor where you can draw on, but I have the feeling ... it wouldn't be actually "better" than my tablet. Just a lot more expensive. They can cost like 2000 euros.

You should only get one if you directly have a business that is gonna pay for it. Otherwise and Xpenn is fine.
 
Spilt some tobacco on my carpet yesterday and despite cleaning it up this morning my carpet now smells like a fucking desert casino from the 1970s.

Any advice on ways to kill the smell? Lavender oil and febreeze aren't working
