Why does everyone like ODST so much? Firefight was cool but the rest of the game was trash.
It's called, you having no taste. Sadly it is incurable.

Making Political Maymays for the national strike over here I had to adapt some to spanish, but this one didn't have a clean version, so after 2 minutes of brushing shit here goes, a clean version of the Tuxedo mask meme for your personal use.

Reach was the better game by far, especially with multiplayer. ODST was just UNSC: Modern Warfare. pffft-
7/10

Nuh uh.

Spartan 2 > everything else

>Shows 343's shit art design

Wrong. Mainline halo (CE,2,3) has one great game, which is CE. One rushed but good game, which is 2. And one game to pick up the scraps and was okay, which is 3.

ODST was a great side story and gameplay wise was a return to classic Halo's open level design with more linear levels throughout.

Reach was a retcon that added sprint and focused too much on cinematics leaving it with mostly boring levels, but was saved by the few good levels like the sabre mission.

Then you have 343 Halo which from Halo CE Anniversary to Halo 5 has yet to produce anything but shit.

I only played Halo 2 when I was like 14 because the local Itnernet Cafe had a set up of a bunch of OG Xbox linked together to play with a bunch of people and the guys at school liked to do that.

ODST is good if you like cod. You should be playing cod though, not Halo. It's like how people here complain about new Fallouts vs old.

People complain because Bethesda's crap sequels discard the IP's atmosphere, design principles, the writing, and the gameplay.

Bethesda has made franken-shooters of the one of the best RPG series ever made. People would actually replay the games to absolve their own conscience of the damaging choices they made during play.

Pete Hines —bragged— about Bethesda never surprising the player; always making it crystal clear that their actions were black & white (good or evil)... Yet one of the best parts of the Necropolis is when a player just takes the waterchip without any thought—and finds out later that it doomed the Necropolis ghouls to death by dehydration.

Because ODST is still good (and not because it's CoD), unlike the shitty Bethesda Fallouts. People don't mind change if it's well done (which Bethesda Fallouts aren't, further made worse by the existence of New Vegas).

And really, how the fuck can you even compare both? Halo ODST is still a FPS (like the rest of the main series), unlike the Bethesda Fallouts which aren't isometric turn based RPGs (the first two games). Halo ODST still gives a FPS experience like the previous Halos, unlike the Bethesda Fallouts which don't give anything resembling the experience you get with the first two games (and the experience is just not combat).

Makes me think back to the interviews with the Dead Rising 4 devs, which mostly consised of them shitting on all the previous games to justify their universally panned entry that also killed the company and the series.
