General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

Started a New Game plus on Death March in Witcher 3 just so i can pick some of the decisions i didn't picked in the previous playthough. and i might do a third playthough down the line (likely when i play some games before it) where Geralt is a complete dick, doesn't love any ho, and lets his daugher die.

I have been eyeing the Definitive Edition of Dragon Quest 11, waiting for it to go on sale. Most likely won't happen until summer sale though.

Maybe it will go on Spring Cleaning event, only time can tell.
 
Forgot Steam does a Spring event, hopefully it will be on sale then. The definitive edition of DQ11 did come out last December, and usually takes several months after release for most things to go on sale. Hence why i think it will happen during the summer sale.

I do still have games like Sleeping Dogs and Dusk to play, so no biggie if the sale doesn't happen soon.

Hey, patience is a virtue, for most games I wait at least for a year, because of DLCs, bugfixes and sometimes good discount too.

For example I waited a while for Kingdom Come Deliverance and bought it relatively cheap with all the DLC.

I am against censorship in gaming, though I am curious how developers would adapt if a sort of gaming Hayes' Code was in affect. Would they pursue unique scenarios and employ a writer who can convey more distasteful topics in an expert way to bypass the censors? Sort of akin to the cinema and noir films during the early-to-mid 1900s, with their colorful dialogue and use of analogy. Nowadays I'm not sure if modern developer could pull that sort of thing off.

Currently going through Yakuza 7, Dragon Quest XI on Switch, Trails of Cold Steel 4, Persona 5 Strikers and Dark Souls 2 (so I can start 3).

Bracing myself for Echo Generation, RE8 and Cris Tales (Colombian game, gotta be there day one). I don't know how I am gonna do this shit or why I did it,
 
Dark souls 2 is a bad game and is entirely skippable. Dark souls 3 jerks off one to an absurd degree and barely acknowledges 2 if at all.

I have several issues with DS2, but I made it my project to play through them in order. I am in the DLC for the second one, which is a huge pain in the dick, I might just do one more DLC and then jump to 3.

I think the main issues with Dark Souls 2 is the absolute disconnect between visual feedback and mechanics, there is a very clear lack of polish on the visual department, shit just doesn't connect so unlike Dark Souls 1 playing it isn't as intuitive, parrying is much harder because it jus doesn't look right, I did a Strenght build and using heavy two hand weapons is such a shitshow, also Scholars of the first sin is just a troll mod, I can't believe there is no way to play the originaal version on PC.
