It all comes tumbling down, tumbling down.

I too would like an answer to this.
Already answered. Ghouls have no idea how their own physiology works.

Even in Fallout 2, 160 years after the war, ghouls were acting weirded out by the fact that the radiation from the GECKO nuclear power plant "made them feel warm inside". They STILL didn't know radiation healed them even after being ghouls for 160 years.

Dean Dominio in Dead Money also questions if he has to eat to stay alive. He literally doesn't know if he has to eat anymore, and simply does it out of the belief that he does. Despite the fact hes been a ghoul for two centuries, he has no clue if he needs to eat.

From the endings, not from a ghoul source:

The ghouls of Necropolis learn firsthand the final meaning of dehydration, as their city succumbs to the desert sands and the water runs out. Without their water purifying control chip, they do not survive

Please tell me you aren't really this bad at following the argument made
>Someone asks why did the ghouls die in Fallout 1
>Points out that ghouls had no idea how their biology works and that radiation heals them
>HERE'S THE SAME SOURCE ABOUT GHOULS DYING

The source is not from a ghoul but from the ending narrator which is the direct voice of the game creators.

The source is not from a ghoul but from the ending narrator, the most authoritarian source in the game.
I am going to ask a completely honest question, and I apologize if it comes across as rude or insulting.

But, are you dyslexic?

Glowing Ones even supposedly emit radiation, and they probably died too.

Gee, I wonder why. How come the other ghouls didn't just huddle around their sustenance-dispensing pals?

Because, as pointed out before, ghouls are retarded, and have no idea that radiation heals them, some of them don't even know if they have to eat.

Now you are just repeating questions that have been answered at least thrice.

Funny how to someguy37 concept art on a loading screen is IRREFUTABLE CANON but the ending narration (which also happens to be the canon ending of Necropolis) Is not.

Hmmm.
Nice straw man, I never once denied that the Fallout 1 ending was canon.

and the whole argument thus far has been that those ghouls only died because they had no idea they had other ways to live.

Its funny how habitually dishonest you are, and you don't even try to hide it. It speaks volumes of your character.

Your argument is that ghouls don't know there own physiology and thus any knowledge they provide is suspect. I provide a source that is not a ghoul, the ending narration which is the voice of the authors, which proves without a doubt your argument holds no water. This is the last word, you are wrong, ghouls need water to survive.

But Glowing Ones are literally filled with and made of radiation. They should be effectively immortal.

Your insistence that they can subsist entirely on radiation is speculation anyway. Kid in a fridge is not evidence.

It only proves that the ghouls died of dehydration, which is literally never said was impossible.

So, once again, you misrepresent plain English text, and make me wonder about if English is your first language or not.

They are effectively immortal, when have we ever seen a glowing one die of age?

All the ghouls in places in Fallout 3, NV, and 4, which have been locked in buildings sealed for 200 years, and which have no edible food around, is plenty evidence.

If it proves they died of dehydration it proves they need water. You have no argument which is why keep resorting to personal attacks.
>a car stopped functioning because it ran out of gas.
>This proves that cars NEED gas to run, and that theres literally absolutely no other means by which you could have powered the car beyond gas.
Please tell me you don't actually believe that, because if you do, that's sad.

Okay, nice strawmen. We're not talking about cars that aren't even living, we're talking about FUCKING GHOULS who need water to survive, as said by Ghouls and the ending of Necropolis. How can the ghoul kid survive for 200 hundred years without water when we know they need it? Your argument has literally no basis, and the strongest you can do is put up a car?

Except
A. We don't know ghouls NEED water the survive, only that the ghouls of necropolis died to a lack of water that likely resulted in them not knowing that radiation heals them.

B. As has been pointed out before, the door to the refrigerator isn't properly sealed, and has a fairly large gap in it, which is why his voice can come out, and why he had air to breath. Are you really so fucking thick skulled you dont understand that gap = water can get into the fridge. Its not like Boston is like D.C. or the Mojave, where it never rains ever.

Once again, you manage to prove the Internet's stereotype of NMA right.

I advise everyone not to further engage Someguy37 on this topic. We can explain it to him until we are blue in the face but we can't understand it for him.

"

>They do not survive.

>Do not

>Survive

That is clear as day, Proof that is the reason they do not survive, is due to lack of water. They clearly need water and they didn't have the resource so they died of dehydration. Stop trying to jump around the fact rationalize it to defend the stupid quest that the idiot pete hines refuses to elaborate on.

I seriously wonder how the fuck you can keep on posting that when its been explained already.

I mean, I knew before I signed up here that NMA was a massive echo chamber/hug box of irrational contrarians, but this constant barrage of not actually refuting any points made defies belief.

This, coupled with you calling people autistic in other threads, is why you fail.
>pointing out that someone seemingly doesn't grasp the basics of the English language is why I fail.
So pointing out the obvious makes someone a failure?

Dude you are the one who is going around and twisting facts in order to have them fit your beliefs and personally attacking and insulting people here. You are nothing but a irrational fanboy who we have tolerated long enough. You maybe the biggest idiot and blowhard I have ever come across on here.
