I'm not sticking up for him. I was pointing out how you made a post calling out attacks and insults and then you went on to attack and insult in the very same post. (And actually, I didn't really care so much about the insults on either side, it was exactly what I said about the irony of attacking and insulting while condemning attacking and insulting.)

But beyond that, I don't think I can understand people that get so upset with somebody else where they lash out at them in the same way they condemn the other for, and then they don't do the easy thing and use the ignore feature and never have to see their posts again, unless the hit the show post button or if they get quoted.

So, Season Passes. Are they refundable? Cause if not, how do ya'll think the response from people that at first were hyped about Fallout 4 and bought them but then over time realized how soulless Fallout 4 is is going to feel when they're stuck with 30 euro worth of DLC that is subpar?

Oh, and do anyone know if there is a negative response from someone who was hyped to heaven and who bought the pip-boy thingie and the guide and the glow in the dark vault-boy action figure? Cause I would love to see how their negative reaction is like after having spent so much money on it.

I mean, we've seen negative responses. Sure, but what about negative responses from people that spent more than just the standard 60 dollar/euro price-tag? I'm interested in how they'd feel about it. I mean, I bought the uh... Something something version of Wasteland 2 that included the novella's and the soundtrack, pre-ordered it even. And I would be damn bitter if the game and extra content had turned out to be shit. Thankfully, it wasn't and I enjoyed it. But had it been bad... Well, I'd probably be 'really' harsh against Bethesda with my negative criticism.

Yeah, I'm bitterly regretting purchasing the Season Pass in advance. Not sure what I was thinking.

In terms of the shift, I think there's an aspect of "hope" when you start playing, and then you realise that it won't get better.

I actually enjoyed the first few hours. Having fun with the new craft system, discovering random locations, shooting things. Pop corn stuff, but it was fun.

And at every occurence of a major disappointment, I thought it would get better. I thought, maybe I'm still in some sort of "tutorial" area of the map, where the quests are simple and the interactions basic.

"Oh, crap, you can't do that here. Ah well, maybe next time in a similar situation I'll be able to".

And then you realise that no. The pop corn stuff is all this game has to offer.

If someone had 'made' me rate the game 10 days ago, I would have given it something like an 8, because I would have still been hoping it could become more Fallouty a bit later. Now I know I was kidding myself.

Although, being on PS4, I think I'll see mods on there by the time I've got too much arthritis to play vidya any more.

As for the DLCs... the record on DLCs for FO3 and NV isn't particulary great. Yes, a couple were quite good, but...

Unfortunately I'd say there's a decent chance we'll get an Alien DLC again. At the Museum of Freedom in Concorde it was mentioned that there was some conflict on the Moon () with the US and some unknown enemy.

This "history" is 100% new to Fallout 4. I doubt Bethesda would just randomly make up some Moon battle for no reason so it's possible they got a DLC planned for it.

Fallout 3 had enjoyable DLC. I didn't buy the season pass because why would I spend 30 bucks on a product that doesn't exist yet without knowing anything about it? But I have hopes that Fallout 4 can get less stupid.

And I guess to respond after the edit. It seemed to me other people were calling out SomeGuy just fine. I just thought it was ironic the way RangerBoo did it and pointed that out.

And I've also seen those, or similar, insults from some of the regulars here so I didn't really think most of the insults themselves were really that big of a deal. And if they are, I'm sure a mod at some point will come in and deal with it.
