    I like doing it for autistic RP ressons because I figure my character probably wants to cling onto their humanity and not look like beef jerky but yeah mechanically it's useless

    It's used for online interaction (summoning and invaders). Healing to full health. Increasing chaos weapon damage. Kindling bonfires. That said, in my nearly offline playthrough I was invaded by NPCs like once because I only switched to humanity for kindling. I think it's a very neat mechanic but it feels weak when the playerbase has died off.

    Animal Crossing is a game that you play with another game. The other game you will want to be story centric or it needs to have some kind of interesting gameplay loop beyond collecting seashells.

    Yep, already did. I have the Black eye orb on me, read up a bit and I apparently have to reach a dual boss battle before I can access it, but if I beat Quelag I get access to another way to upgrade my Estus Flask right afterwards so I'll do that tomorrow.

    It was a fairly basic "circle around them" boss, the only moment I got scared was when it rammed me and did 80% damage, and when it puked and broke my Pyromancy guantlet, but beyond the first death, when I died when I got worried about my weapon breaking I had a fairly easy time with it.

    The Pyromancy Flame can break? Also I hear Pyromancy can be pretty busted in DS1.

    The Gaping Dragon's puke I think breaks whatever I have equipped if it hits, so because I was taking potshots with it at it, when the puke hit me it damaged the guantlet. I was scared because I thought it had broken my Scimitar +6.

    Also the music sounds like the begining of Melancholia mixed with The Inception Sound, and it's near constant, like the series just keeps insisting that what is happening is really impactful even when it's not, to the point where I just bursted out laughing everytime the "Wooommmm" dropped.

    Basically, some frog things burp into you and if they burp too much into you you turn to stone and die, but not only do you die but they curse you which cuts your max HP in half until you can get the curse healed. It requires some backtracking from there, and with half HP it's much harder than normal. And it's right before a Boss.
