I am pretty confident that we will see an elder brain.
Oh I think that is a given.I am pretty confident that we will see an elder brain.
It's not unprecedented seeing as BG2 had an elder brain present in one level.I am pretty confident that we will see an elder brain.
Same, it sort of works for Divinity for me as it does open my mind to dragging a barrel/chest from one area to another due to how much freedom it has but for Baldur's Gate, I do hope they are able to make it feel like a world even if it means dividing their usual large areas into parts ala the original saga.I think PoE had the better "map design" so to speak. If only for the fact that you could actually travel over the map like in Baldurs Gate. It felt like a coherent world. In Divinity I realised after the second chapter, oh, it's just a big square of a map and the principle is always the same with "starter" quests. It simply felt like going trough a check list rather than actually exploring a world.
Plz. Don't remind me ... The first time I played BG2 I almost fucked up big time by entering the illithid dungeon instead of just going for the Kuo-toa prince blood. The quest you're starting here is timed, and I had to rest to often inside the illithid dungeon just to realise that I failed the quest. Luckily I had a save game where I didn't started the quest yet ... but it was hours of play time I had to repeat again. Still a good experience. It's not unprecedented seeing as BG2 had an elder brain present in one level.
That's what the PAUSE button is for!I need a game where I don't need speed and multi-tasking ability of an Octopus to play.
Your probably not going to get it as the previous table top module for D&D, Descent into Avernus, already had the players go into the Hells. Baldur's Gate 3 takes place immediately after the Descent into Avernus campaign.I'm not hot about the Mind Flayer arc. I want the Hells.
Well the games description on Steam said you will be dealing with both devils and deities but I don't think you will be going to the Hells. It seems like Baldur's Gate 3 will focus more on the Sword Coast and The Underdark. But it could still be a part of the game to visit the realms of the 9 hells and the like?
