Fallout 4 Creation Club is now live

I really hope that OpenMW gives the modders something more productive to do. Bethesda needs some real competition genre is just going to be worse. What Bethesda is doing is beyond retarded and it is very persistent on it. Despite the general pessimism, I think people are no longer tolerating Bethesda's behavior.

Seeing the gaming industry collapse and burn would bring a smile to my face.

And several other AIM FIGHTIN THE SYSTEM weaksauce statements

If you don't like the gaming industry, why do you play games? And why do you pirate them and say it is the moral thing to do?

When I don't like something, complain about it, see no point in it, hate it, etc. I steer clear from it unless I am forced by something or someone to deal with it in any way. If I wanted the gaming industry to burn I wouldn't be playing games and I for sure wouldn't be pirating them and then say the companies who made them are bad... That is a contradiction right there.

I don't like onions, I complain people put onions on almost everything, I cook without onions... I definitely do not go around and steal onions from shops because *fuck onion producers*...

I also hate the movie and art industry, doesn't mean that Jaws and the Mona Lisa are bad forms of media.

Been playing Freespace 2, AWESOME game, even by today's standards (if not more-so).

Doesn't mean that GTA V was a good game.

Then buy the good games and don't buy or don't pirate the bad ones.

I dunno what is there more to add upon things, but what about the payment? What if someone is to create a mod out in Creation Club? How much money he would get?

Miles better than Fallout 4 in any way how you look at it.

Don't know the exact number or % cut, but modder is only get paid once, then nothing, even if mod still makes a ton of profit months or even years after, it won't be modder's money.

Better to be a martyr and be socially exiled, than be a sheep.
Or better to admit what you're doing is not for some pipe dream or righteous crusade to fight the powers that be but rather because you're stingy with money or you want to enjoy a game but not want to fork over the cash.

It's fallacious to make out piracy as some kind of morally upright crusade when it really isn't.

Back when I used to pirate, I still recognised that what I was doing is wrong and know that I should never try to justify or misrepresent my actions lest I expose the fallacies of such justifications and representations.

Nowadays, I don't even pirate games. I simply ignore the bad ones or at most, watch gameplay clips to gauge how bad they are.

Good games are made by bad companies most of the time, they don't deserve money either.
So condemn genuinely good designs, decisions and innovations by genuinely competent people in the 'evil' companies with piracy because of condemnation by association? Such fallacy, much wow.

I like the opening paragraph in the Nexus mod page:
This mod is based on a pun. A wordplay.
I've never said anything about the actual Creation Club or Bethesda - neither in my video nor in my mod description, and that was intentional. The mod does nothing that would cost money for the player or take money away from the player as a lot of commenters suggested. That was intentional as well. The mod is not meant to make fun of Bethesda's Creation Club. It's just a simple joke, and I was having the impression that it's not at all offensive to anyone. At least my intention was never to offend Bethesda or anyone on the Nexus.
:roffle:
With how much backlash the CC faces at the moment, I believe that mod is gonna get a lot of positive attention.
