First round of Fallout 4 Reviews

This real time dialogue system is unplayable, I was talking to someone whilel they started walking away and I went to click an option and shot my weapon because the shitty real time system sucks.

Hang around people, and get quests just stapled to your back, *plunk* here's a quest, *plunk* here's another one, you still hanging around? Cool, here *plunk* have a third quest, I'm sure you're quest hungry!

Oh, yeah, 2 out of 3 lead you to "cleared" dungeons, but you know, consumer whores, what to do, right?

And you're all "consuma-what, hey, you take that back!"
And they're all "there, there" *unzips*
Are you having the forced quest dialogue as well? I had the lookout robot from the USS Constitution quest follow me all over the map until I talked to the little bastard.

Don't hang around "the castle" too long either, the radio there pins quests on you like one a minute

Yeaaaahhhh about that, it did that the moment I finished the Mirelurk Queen quest. Gave me three quests instantly. Well at least I have that mod installed that allows me to have the same damage multiplier as enemies so i'm not fighting bullet sponges on survival difficulty. The game is still sucking asshole so far though but combat is tolerable now, I use that word loosely though.

Survival basically laughs and takes a piss on Melee, Unarmed and Dakka playthroughs, hell even Explosive might struggle in the beginning. Seems like the only ones that benefit from this is (not surprising) Rifles, sneaky peeky characters, since they do double damage at max rank with the Rifleman perk and ignore 30% of the enemies' armor, which, real talk, the whole "Ignores this % Armor" and whatnot which either happens from a Legendary item drop or the rifleman perk is really fucking annoying...I miss my ammo types in New Vegas...hell I just miss New Vegas.

How many locations are there actually in the game? Cause it seems smaller than FO3 and SKyrim.

They have a ton of locations but the majority of them are one room hovels with loot not even worth waiting 30 seconds for that ancient piece of shit engine to load the cell up. It's basically quantity over quality for bethesda, I can't even find a single vender outside of Diamond City. Not like caps are useful in the game if you fight Borderlands enemies like a mole rat dropping a LEGENDARY weapon!

Quite a shameful display of blatant self-promotion, but my site's review that was originally posted in Greek now has a translated English version as well.

We gave it a 70/100, our score is also up on Metacritic under the Critic Reviews list for "Fallout 4 for PC" category.

Like I said, it is pretty much a phrase-for-phrase translation from the original Greek version so its wording is not exactly natural or fluent sometimes, but the general idea is there.

So, kinda like FNV?
Except it didn't tank every now and again on my high end PC and some of the places were still miles more interesting then this turd. Better yet I wouldn't compare NV and 4 since they're not even in the same league.

There are lots of areas and Locations in FO4. Only reason why it feels smaller than FO3 is because the map isn't as artificially gated and instanced to force you into roundabout routes to get through it. But just like FO3 most of those locations are enemy infested ruins.

I encountered an area around the location of the second crash of the USS Constitution, raiders living in a building a couple of steps away from these super mutants living in and outside this courthouse with ghouls living on the street a couple steps next to the raiders. None of them killed each other either, this is a theme park not Boston in Fallout.

There is also the Quincy ruins, filled to the brim with Gunners with heavy weapons like Fatman and all of that, but a Ghoul family apparently lives there like it's nothing.... Also the Gunners won't hesitate using mininukes against one dude inside their own teritory.... How do these guys survive?

I found 4 miniguns(one with radiation damage), a missile launcher, two fatman..fatmen..whatever, and a couple suits of power armor.

Oh, that reminds me. The wooden ship on top of a building with rocket engines on it, what's the story behind that one?

I constantly do this. Also I find I can't read shit when I'm in stealth mode with a stealth leg armour fitting. Intended?

I think it got lost from Guildwars 2.

"It just works".

You have to actually stand in front of them and in their way so that you block their walking path and they keep talking to you. It's the only way this doesn't happen.

The funny thing is that house got attacked by 10 guys when I aggroed them over there. That family would be dead in a couple of minutes if they weren't set to essential. Incompetence at its best.

Had 13 people in a settlement, gave combat armors to the most recent arrivals. I check later, and there's 11. FREELOADING BASTARDS! Like I got some combat armor charity or something! >:'I
