It's Morphin' Time Motherfuckers. If this doesn't tickle your nostalgia button then go back to the decade you crawled out from.

The Power Rangers were from my time (I was 8 on 93), and all my schoolmates watched it, but I didn't, I tought it was for kids, after watching so many horror movies and playing violent videogames (I'm talking Wolf 3D and Doom when they were brand new) at a very early age I was unimpressed by the funny looking robot pilots. *receives incoming fruits and vegetables*

I got hooked on Dragon Ball for a few weeks after my cousin forced me to watch it, but that didn't impressed me much either. Later on Evangelion came out, and though Jinji was insufferably whiny it did had some nice gore in it that kept me going :newevil:

Other than that I used to watch Combat! for my action fix and then satyrical cartoons such as Duckman and The Critic, and later Dr Katz. Before all of this (before the Power Rangers even came out I mean) I used to watch Mc Giver, Knight Rider, Inspector Gadget and Hook.

For those interested in the subject I will recomend this book. Like other works before the writer seems to have predicted the future.

I spent 70 bucks on the three individual lord of the rings books. 50th anniversary harper collins books the same size as my children of hurin and unfinished tales books hnnnng. I gotta stop spending money. Or should I? I'm really not doing anything else with it. Is this what privilege feels like?

I'd have updated the nerd purchase thread but like 10 updates in a row on one post seems like overkill. If anyone's interested in the future, I'll do a video on all the new stuff I've since added to the collection.

Not to mention Power Rangers was for the mentally retarded, really.

So if my favorite Power Ranger was Billy,

Does that mean that I'm normal?

My mom wouldn't let me watch power rangers "because they always used violence to solve their problems" ( a few years into its run by now) but she bought me fallout 1 as one of my first pc games.

A fact which is NOT immediately apparent to anyone who begins the game. Ergo, that point is meaningless to the nature of his comment.

You could also NOT kill any Nazis in Wolfenstein 3D; you could just stay in your jail cell and not go anywhere. You're not GONNA, of course. Same principle.
