Things we learned from Fallout 4

36. It's hard to stuff a turkey, when Pete Hines came inside of it.

33. Picking locks will always get you laid.

Fuckin lel.

I always hated this mechanic in games, where insignificant things can infinitely stack up to the 'end tier' rewards.

"You think ladies want dates, gifts, romance, maybe a little lewding up? Hell no, just do drugs in the front of them 100 times and they'll be wet as hell! Maybe pick locks 100 times too! That works on some of them...Apparently...Or just beat up your dog and 'heal' it, everyone loves that!"

It is funny too as a lot of female gamers like romance to be in their games. However, they like build up, back and forth and flirting when it comes to their romances. With Bethesda the romances feel like they were written by a child who's understanding of romance comes from cartoons. The romances in Fallout 4 were hilariously bad.

Annoyingly EVERY character was bisexual, even when it makes little sense.

Yeah sure the 'basically tech-nazis' Danse is totally gay...Sure.

I feel like this is their general approach to dialogue in games ...
With Bethesda's Fallout it feels like it came out of those anti-communists, patriotic cartoons from the 50's. You could do some funny satire with that like what Destroy All Humans or Old World Blues did but Bethesda seemed like they kind of took it a little too seriously or that the concept of satire went over their heads.

That is how it has to be now with romances. You don't want to piss off the Twitter and RetardEra crowd and have them dox you and your family over what sexual preferences a character has. People take things, especially make believe, way too seriously now a days. I mean, Twitter and RetardEra are pissed because some of the romances in Cyberpunk 2077 prefer the opposite sex. Romances in games have to be either bi or gay. If not then you are a bigot. I recall that they also got mad about that too with GreedFall.

I like the implication that Arthur is gay and Danse is his lover actually. It would have been a much more interesting story than most of the generic paint by the numbers quests.

Also, made a little more interesting twist on the fact everyone expects Arthur to be a legendary monarch when he's just a person.

Also, not much more than a teenager trying to look older with a beard.

Should have put them on for Arthur instead but look what has happened. He’s being sold in European sex slave rings for the fourth time.

It's like you don't even care that he's Taken 4

You want on topic? Things I learned from Fallout 4:
  • Bethesda will use Fallout as an aesthetic from now on. Moral quandaries? HECK NO! Build some cool Vault Boy sign, bop bop 50s songs haha atom bombs!
