Will we ever get to join the Enclave? Or otherwise explore their organization?

Well there is a enclave base in Chicago(my hometown) iirc. I wouldn't mind seeing the last enclave chapter in existence try desperately to survive, it could make for a interesting plot, if it was handled with care. But Bethesda wil probably make the next fallout so it will probably be just more armored dudes to shoot at.
Actually it was Enclave outposts in Chicago, not a full on base.

Also, that information was terribly out of date given that they act like Navarro was still standing, when it had fallen some time before.

Given that ED-E was repaired by some wastelander idiots, and not the Enclave, and given that Chicago is home to the MWBoS, there is a 99% chance the MWBoS already wiped them out, and took all thier stuff.

But Bethesda doesn't seem to have any itnrest in going into the Midwest, like how they have no interest in going to the west and "gave" Obsidian free reign to do whatever they wanted with the western US in New Vegas.

Isn't the Midwest bos only semi-canon?. There still a chance that some of the outpost could still be inhabited.

From what we know about the MWBoS from Fallout 3, NV, and 4
-The BoS sent some guys east in airships.
-Those airships crashed in the Midwest.
-The BoS who survived set up a base in Chicago.
-They fought super mutants.
-Some of those super mutants were absorbed into the MWBoS's ranks.
-By the time of New Vegas, they seem to still be stretched from Chicago all the way too Colorado, as Caesar mentions capturing BoS scribes out east who don't know the name of Maxson, and the only BoS known to be operating in the Legion's eastern areas(which would be near Denver) is the MWBoS. Them not knowing of Maxson would make sense given their large outside conscription, and their general dislike of the Western BoS.
-Miscellaneous bits from Tactics, such as Nuka Cherry, and giant roaches, are still considered canon. Though giant roaches have been renamed radroaches.

While not specifically stated, we can reasonably guess the Barnaky ending isn't canon, as nowhere in New Vegas do they mention the Mutant Liberation Army being pushed back into the region as happens in that ending.

We can also assume the Calculator was destroyed, as part of Lyon's mission east was to make contact with the MwBoS, and bring them back under Lost Hill's command. And neither Lyons nor Rothchild mention a giant robot army. Rothchild even mentions the MWBoS are a small group. Caesar also fails to mention a giant robot army accompanying the BoS he captured.

We also know they haven't expanded east or west of the territory they captured in Tactics. If they had, they would be in Ashur's territory by the time The Pitt starts, yet no one there mentions them. And Caesar doesn't mention any significant MWBoS force, which would be present had they expanded west after the ending of Tactics.

As far as I'm concerned, the entirety of FO3 and FO4 are only semi canon.

* ENCLAVE MOONBASE

Careful what you write on the internet, Bethesda could be reading and this sounds like the ideal $30 DLC for their next Fallout 5. Including two new super secret types of power armor we never heard about, moonbase style furniture for your settlements, enclave flags and the sarcastic token companion whose ideology and lifestyle can be completely customized by a simple speech skill check at the end of a linear companion quest

I tossed around that moonbase idea for Fallout 3 years ago. That is a bit of a no-brainer as far as retro sci-fi is concerned. I would have rather went to the moon as opposed to Mothership Zeta.

To be fair, Interplays Fallout 3 concept/story was supposed to send you into space as well at some point.

...send you into space

Where can I read more of this? It would be epic

It's not that I don't like the idea of Moon base/space station for a Fallout game, it is Bethesda and the way they would most likely handle it that would kill me. I for one am glad Bethesda went the UFO way instead so Obsidian can still make it right... If they ever give them a chance...

Well, with the Enclave wanting to go to space and the Shi also wanting to go to space since Fallout 2, Mr House wanting to go to space in Fallout New Vegas and the space station from Van Buren, I think it is safe to assume that Interplay/Obsidian had a goal to explore some kind of space scenario in a future game (I guess it would have done that in Van Buren).

There's so much yearning for the Enclave and all I can say is that there have been mods about it and if those aren't to their liking they should make their own.

The Enclave is dead and defeated. Like Mutants, like the BoS, hell even like the Khans. Don't force that shit on everyone else in a canon game.

Yes, because it's so easy to kill an ideology.
