Will we ever get to join the Enclave? Or otherwise explore their organization?

How many times does the Enclave have to lose for people to get sick of them. They lost at the Oil Rig, Navarro, Raven Rock, The Purifier and Adams Air Force Base. That five times. How do they even have people left?

Fallout Shelter explains it as two people going off together to do something....unspeakable.

Oh my god, this is What bethesda gave to the franchise....

I rather have the enclave be what they where in New Vegas, a disappeared group that was destroyed close to half a century prior. Maybe have a few remnants or abandoned outposts, but to go full Ken Levine + JJ Abrahams heavy handed and have Neo Enclavers just sounds like bad fan fic.
The only way how I could see it work, is if you had some few Enclave individuals pulling the strings in the background. Actually, this is what I believed the Institute to be when I heard the first time about Fallout 4, like where you get this OMG IT'S THE ENCLAVE! Twist in the end ... where you fought some evil organisation, and it turns out their leader was some Enclave survivor or something. Thank god, they at least didn't decided for something like that.
However, a gray faction that doesn't care to much about morals lead by some Enclave survivors, who might tell you something about the history, that could be neat. But not under Bethesda. It would need writters that actually respect Fallout lore, and not shit and puke all over it in the name of profit.

I think you've touched on something here that really points out why all speculation for future Fallout games is pointless. It's fucking bethesda running the show, they can't execute a decent idea for shit. I don't care to wonder about what could be next for the Fallout series because no matter what ideas I come up with I have to take into account we have the fucking mongs at bethesda in charge of executing it.

This is a company who turned an RPG into a Garbage Collection simulator on a single game just because some people online were derranged enough to obssesively collect teddy bears on a game that is supposed to be about world in a Post Apocalyptic world. Always assume the stupidest posibility.

I'd like the Enclave to return but I'd like them to be portrayed as less like the Galactic Empire and more like Nazis.

I.e. Pathetic waste of space.

I'd like, for instance, to go to NCR and find a bunch of skinhead Raiders with American flag circle tattoos using scrappy beat-up Power Armor. And have people talk about Neo-Enclavers with the same eye-rolling disdain as white supremacists in the real world.

Basically, make it a failed ideology which seems hard to stamp out.
latest

The Enclave failed and were wiped out with many of their survivors coming to regret their actions (since many of them were simply following orders like former Nazi soldiers as some here has compared them to). The idealogy of the group completely failed so the survivors don't attempt to follow it (Orion Moreno, the one we see who does follow it practices their idealogy in moderation and is ultimately a soldier who wants to follow orders).

The group died in Fallout 2 and 3 was deservedly wiped out for being so maniacally evil.

But yes, I'm entirely okay with Enclave revivals.

* Enclave divisions and branches we never knew about.
* Enclave survivors who have conquered or assimiliated other groups (an Enclave soldier takes over a Vault, for example)
* ENCLAVE MOONBASE

and so on.

One of the things I always liked/looked for in fallout was the moral ambiguity. Start the game with "the Enclave has fallen" coming in over the radio, you then take off your shiny black armour and explore the gameworld with your big bad secret. Do you find the survivors? Do you join them or finish them off?

You explore the enclave a lot in fo2. About siding with them despite the purity ideology, it could have been done as an add-on ( 1990s, no dlc) for fallout 2 that would deal, amongst other things, with the fate of Navarro. Being severely weakened by the loss of the oil rig, the last few surviving members would probably reconsider the prospect of recruiting. ( by the way, fo2 enclave did do recruitment. They just considered they recruits and extremely expendables)

NO!

That is a dumb idea, and you know it's a dumb idea. There is no way that the Enclave made it to the moon, without those on the Oil Rig knowing about it.

It's where they kept their families and cryogenically frozen colonists for repopulating the Earth!

TBH, the entire Enclave moonbase idea is dumb, and I honestly think the X-01 PA in Nuka World being in that display, which had a moon like environment on it, was Bethesda poking fun at the idea, and how many people kept trying to push the idea as DLC.

Well there is a enclave base in Chicago(my hometown) iirc. I wouldn't mind seeing the last enclave chapter in existence try desperately to survive, it could make for a interesting plot, if it was handled with care. But Bethesda wil probably make the next fallout so it will probably be just more armored dudes to shoot at.
