I don't wanna hijack the spotlight, but just for the record, should anyone need me for anything, I'm going to be clocked out on a ramshackle rocket tour of ill-omen for an indeterminate span of time, effective from about three months ago until (???). I'll still be keeping an eye on PMs and reported posts, but I apologize in advance for not responding with alacrity.

Safe travels wherever you go.

Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

I know that this is no talk directly related to fallout, but just came across this and didn't want to make a thread. Someone made a F:NV monopoly set, and it actually looks pretty good.

I was going to post that to the news, but several other people have already did that as well in the past. Very neat project. There were rumors that Bethesda was making an official one.

Monopoly, boring? As a kid, monopoly always caused tears and fighting, the opposite of boring!

Welp, that was regular family life for little kiddie me so...
//Instant bummer bomb.

I remember liking one Monopoly clone we had here in Colombia, mostly because it was Scrooge McDuck themed (here we called him Tio rico McPato, so Rich Uncle Mac Duck). All the cards and board were covered in Disney art so it wasn't as boring looking as regular monopoly.

I think it was regular for everybody, kids + board games = tears and fighting on the floor
Those games are SO UNFAIR!!! It's like... my friend wins, and I don't! And when I win - he don't! There's no pleasing everybody! D:

Another one was "the lost diamond" or something, it had a big map of Africa, and we're supposed to find a particular diamond. Fighting and tears.
Chess was a common hit, one of my friends used to grab the king, and "run" it away across the sofa, saying "Flee my king! Flee for the hills!" (A "reference" if you will, to Norwegian WW2 history lessons), another friend would simply just throw the board and pieces up in the air, and conclude victory.

Hell, even trying to play with Lego ended up with tears and fighting...

Today this rage has migrated into the online-gaming world, I suppose

To be honest I have always found Monopoly to be pretty boring.
Now this: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/60208/?
I am choosing what to uninstall so I can try it with my Legion run.

My game is borked at the moment. It is hard to let go of certain mods and I have no clue what is causing the glitches. I ended up uninstalling my large armor pack which included my Duke Nukem skins among other things. One glitch/conflict I was having is the NPC's being intangible, meaning I can walk through them, or not hurt them. Only certain NPC's would appear like that, usually unimportant ones on the road. It has happened several times, so I am wondering if I hit my mod limit. Long story short: I'm uninstalling most of my mods, starting a new game, and preparing for my last New Vegas LP before the inevitable Fallout 4 shitfest. Now it's off to eat Hamburger Helper. The cornerstone of any Americans meal.

Are you using the Skeleton Overhaul Mod that also turns corpses tangible? because the Mod author found out that that specific feature was causing problems when the amount of collision meshes on the map reached it's limits and caused not only for certain Havok physics to stop working (Like throwing grenades, they would stay on midair and explode in your face) but it would also start messing with existing collision meshes on terrain, buildings and npcs. I installed the new version and it works much better.

Ah, the joys of modding the shit out of an 11 year old game engine. The writing deserves all the love that made this happen. But the engine... *shudders*

If it IS that mod, then that's a pity. Having corpses act like some form of obstacle (if not a whole "object" was one such thing I considered looking into. But, eh... it's mostly a convenience for my obsessive attention to detail. If not getting it comes at the cost of not running into game-breaking glitches where collisions unpredictably stops in the wildest places, I think I can accept doing without the mod, then.

I may have installed that at some point, but it would be somewhere in the data files I assume. Hmmm...I may have uninstalled some of my shit for no reason. Eh. It needs to be done periodically. I think that skeleton mod was required for a mod I may have gotten rid of. Goddammit.

Is this the one?

I'm not sure if I made backups. Ugh.

Found this one I HAVEN'T used. Wonder if it may work? You can't go wrong with interact-able penises.

I also use NVR3 which needs a special esp when used with one of those. This is one of the downfalls of modding small things like that, because they often don't need a esp, so it is difficult to tell what you may have installed, say a year or so ago.

Which one let's you pile up dead bodies?

The one I am thinking of was made by this dude:
http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/users/1151770/?tb=mods&pUp=1

He had some form of emotional breakdown and went all "Delete everything" for a while. Then he came back and updated the mods he deleted before.

This si the new Version. The previous one was called "Ragdoll Overhaul" or something along those lines.

Do you also have one of those "Purge Cell Buffr" mods? Those really help, altho youcan purge cells manually by typing "PCB" on the Console Command screen.

I think I have zenautopurger, the one that is set up automatically.

Thanks for the help. We'll see if this squashed that bug. I uninstalled the Dragbody armor packs since they were taking up active slots even though they used a merged esp. I thought maybe I hit the limit, which may have still been the case since texture bugs popped up at times.

I have taken to keep my load list under 134 too.

Edit:
Also, this mod made me jizz my pants:

And I am loving using it.

If Elvis was the king of Rock and Roll, and Michael Jackson the King of pop, what other kings or queens were there?
