    The originals are pretty stupid as well, though. Yoda looks like something The Muppet Show couldn't use, and the Ewoks are just fucking annoying. The fight scenes suck ass and most of the aliens look completely unbelievable, like Vagina Mouth.

    I’d have thought that after Metal Gear Survive that studios would’ve been like “yeah maybe it’s time to not shit out clones of games like that and Rust.”

    Then again, I’m not surprised. Innovation is something that seems to have ceased to exist as of late.

    Innovation doesn't exit in the AAA scene, that's for sure. It's only about loot boxes and microtransactions. Hopefully we get a real Resident Evil game next year.

    I dunno, but it looks pretty damn good to me. I wouldn't mind a DC/Marvel movie that actually has some depth to it, 'cause all we've seen so far are action movies and action comedies. I'm still pissed that the New Mutants movie got cancelled. Horror would work so well in that universe.

    The fact that the Anime is now following the manga more closely from half through season 3 on shows they realized they just fucked it up.

    Also that website has dogshit design holy shit, the topbar isn't even properly positioned. They reduce the information area to put an ad in the worst possible place.

    They gave those out if you pre-ordered it too. Not to mention that the games have been dirt cheap (even free at points) for years. If you wanted those games, you already owned them outside of the Bethesda Store.

    I've always wanted something like this but it would require a bit of dedication from people who explicitly don't want Bethesda's trouble in the mix. If you include New Vegas you *might* have to include some of Fallout 3's for certain items and stuff to make sense without just being there. Which is a compromise at points :/

    Van Buren's design docs don't depict a full game. Making such mod would mean that you would have to add a bit from yourself (mostly side content). Look at New California.

    It's authors stated that it will be a fan prequel and it still got shit a lot for it's writing. Now imagine that you make a mod based on Fallout 3 that never came to existence.
    Parts of them were used in Beyond Boulder Dome (they got shit for writing, but I didn't have problems with it personally, though main story was bland. ).

    I don't see how an incomplete story would stop people from making a van buran mod. Modders are always making total conversion mods with completely original stories all the time. Mods like Fallout: frontier, New California, Miami, and cascadia. If people will spend years to make a huge mod with a original story then why can't people make a mod on some incomplete documents and just fill the gaps?

    I was checking out Fallout Miami. It looks like it will be shit. It's going to have the enclave and a pirate theme faction for no reason.

    the enclave were a bordlerline shit villain in their original game. why do people like them so much? their whole identity and goals are just "what if the master but this time no moral ambiguity?"

    Exactly, it's why I have no interest in playing mods like fallout: new california because the enclave is in it.

    I'll admit that I got a bit dissapointed when I learned about it, but I'll wait for it's release (unless it dies like so many TCs before). I'm not really bothered by Enclave in New California, as I'm impressed that they finally released it and still patch it (they even plan to rewrite some parts and add companion quests and some new locations).
