Fallout 4 coming out on November 10, free mobile spin-off out now

Must be hard to manipulate objects while using both fists, could be an special ability through.

I think the only Unarmed weapon type that has this issue is Gauntlet based weapons (mantis Gauntlet, Deathclaw Gauntlet, Yao Guai Gauntlet, etc), as Power Fist type weapons still allow you easy manipulation on the fingers without becoming a hassle, this is why BoS with power fists can still type and manipulate objects while having one equipped.
@GlowHound, oh god, it's that huge? RIP Unarmed. I seriously hope we encounter some advanced proto-pip boy that is a handheld, It makes no sense to keep going with the giant arm-wrist watch thing :L Especially when it actually hinders you more often than helping you.

Reposting an old post of mine from the codex, for the lulz:

"So, as our more intelligent fans may have noticed, we've made great innovations in the field of dialogue in our games. In the past a system of dialogue was ment to give the player choices, ways of expressing your character and skill checks. But really, when you get down to it, while it was kind of great we felt like we needed to add some pezaz to it. We wanted to take that system and keep the core of it all, but kind of . . streamline it a bit? You know. So now we've replaced dialogue with Dialogue®. The player can utilize Dialogue® to skip dialogue. It's secondary features are the dumping of exposition, but that's tiring to a player so we keep that to a minimum. And also accepting and completing quests. So it's more of a. . .checklist sort of, now? And this is all about embracing the idea that the player can't miss out on anything, and can access anything at any time. We don't want the player to feel like they missed something. And that's freedom. That's what RPG's are all about." -Another great speech from the venerable Todd Howard, bravely standing up to the games industry.

I always thought it became exactly a meme because it was so stupid as a line ...

I never understood this high focus on speaking NPCs anyway, even in New Vegas. I mean does that even seem believable to anyone? The only people I know that shout one liners whem I am out in town are ... crazy people.

If I learn how to mod, I'll release an "No Essential NPCs" mod with the title "Reloading is too Hard!".

Tried it with the Better Vampires mod in Skyrim, turned some important NPCs into Vampire Thralls to feed on them. Killed them by draining their blood.

--------> Script called one NPC -----------> Game crash.

So... bad idea.

Recommendation: Do not click the "view results" button, might cause an angry eye twitch.

Been wanting to say this for a long time while lurking through the forums:

Too colorful, horrid writing and they're, as always, taking the retro-futurism too far and neglecting the other elements of the pre-war culture. Vault 87 Super Mutants again? Great. Prepare for more lore-breaking!

Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel looks amazing compared to the Bethesdian Fallout games. At least it's not the one we're most ashamed of anymore!

So according tot the QuakeCon demo, we'll be getting Player-Sexual companions like in Dragon Age. For fucks sake

There wouldn't be a problem with this if the Bethesda writing team wasn't so awful at making interesting characters. Connections between the player and NPCs (be it a romance angle, a friendship, or some other sort of "relationship") can work and in many cases they do work, but only if your characters are realistic, rounded characters with a developed personality and history, and your interactions with them become meaningful through the storytelling. But can you imagine having any emotional response to the inane, archetypal companions of Fallout 3? Or with the followers in Skyrim which were all copies of each other except for a few quirks and catchphrases? I imagine the dialogue and the development of a romantic companion will feel as forced as the attempt at making the player connect with James in FO3, if not more.
